Ocean, waves, sun, and sky

Ocean, waves, sun, and sky
Do you think I know why?
Birds, fish, sand, and more
Do I know what’s in store?

Certainly from the worlds view
I may be considered odd too

But take a long look and you’ll see
something so unique of heart to be

Somewhere between here and there

Somewhere between here and there stands a place to say hello ~ one hand reaching out, one reaching in.

For a brief moment

For a brief moment my hand was held. Though I was certain it would be let go, it was not, still gently grasping mine as if to say I am not forgotten . . . . dreams

As I scaled the mountain all alone I noticed there was no one home. Nor upstairs or downstairs nor all around not until I hit the ground.

Send me a sign, one that I’ll see, a bird in the air, a boat on the sea. Send me a sign so I’ll know you are there, in a comfortable place thinking of me.

It’s been over a year

It’s been over a year yet still imagining the path strewn moments of others having followed a similar fate. Yet uncontrollably my face falls upon the beaten path appearing as one more. Certainly not like a snake laying in waiting for a morsel to journey by revealing an opportune remorse. Though hesitatingly it is agreed, I am yearning for the faintest opening to be part of a momentary glimpse once again.

Crafted openness

Crafted openness searches for light, timeless skies shifting in the breeze. Flattery falling upon daft ears to be tossed aside for utterances of alternate prose. Seemingly, the still mist lingers on waiting for the slightest breath to carry forward ~ another day.
